A talk by Anne Reid of Dundee Naturalists which will cover identification and conservation and is aimed at non-specialist birdwatchers/naturalists.

A guided walk across the military training ground. Choose your focus - Birds or Flora and Butterflies - and enjoy this spectacular area in the company of expert nature watchers.Please be prepared to car share. Bring a packed lunch and appropriate clothing.
Meet at Monifieth Football Club car park. From Monifieth High street follow the red outlined sign to Barry Buddon camp and ranges. At the end of the street turn left into South street and turn right under the railway underpass. Turn immediately left alongside the railway line and follow the track for about 500m to the Monifieth end of the football pitches car park. Please be at the car park for 9:45 at the latest.
“Ospreys and Much More” Balgavies Loch 2 – 4p.m. A guided walk for enthusiastic naturalists of all ages who are interested in discovering the bio-diversity of this unique Reserve. The summer wildlife on Balgavies Loch includes nesting ospreys and other migrant birds as well as a variety of flourishing plant life.
Limited to 25 participants, bookable in advance. Meet in Forfar Myre Car Park 1:30pm to car share.
“Fungal Foray” Balgay Hill, Dundee, 2 – 4p.m. An absolute must for everyone’s Autumn diary, but limited to 15 participants, bookable in advance.
